Before you begin

The four temperaments (sanguine, choleric, melancholic, and phlegmatic) are a classical way of describing the natural tendencies God gave each of us, and many Catholic writers have used them to reflect on growing in virtue. This quiz is for reflection and fun. It is not a label, a diagnosis, or an official teaching of the Church. Nothing you enter is stored or sent by this website.

Parents and guardians: this works well as a conversation starter. Consider taking it too, and let your daughter decide how much of her results to share.
